Let's travel to the mountains of NC- where to stay, things to do, and all things Biltmore

My boyfriend and I recently skipped town and visited Asheville NC and I am IN LOVE- with him and the quaint little town!
Lodging
First things first....lodging! We stayed at the Omni Grove Park Inn about 15 minutes from all things Biltmore--
What to expect at Omni:
We were welcomed with Southern Hospitality as soon we arrived, offering Valet and help with luggage! The main lobby offers two stunning fire places, plenty of sitting room, and a bar with drinks and small plates.
There is so much to do at the Omni:
The Spa is a must- book an appointment when you book your room because they fill up fast!
Fitness Center
Three dining options on site
A cute onsite boutique
Coffee & ice cream shop
Car Museum
Golf
Indoor pool
Only being there for two nights, we weren't able to experience everything this amazing resort has to offer. Be sure to check out their website!
While there, we had the opportunity to visit Village on Biltmore grounds or at the Grand Bohemian Hotel located in Biltmore Village where there is endless shopping and dining!

We stoped at the restaurant, Red Stag Grill, located in the Grand Bohemian Hotel for a drink and app! 12/10!

Weekend Itinerary!
We arrived late Friday night but we did stop at an awesome restaurant in Greensboro NC called Print Works Bistro- DELISH

Saturday morning we started the day off the right way, a seasonal sangria overlooking the beautiful NC mountains at the Sunset Terrace @ Omni!
Next, have brunch at Blue Ridge also @ Omni!
I took a few work calls and we headed out for the day!
Biltmore Village- Shopping, shopping, and more shopping!!
Biltmore at Christmas- OH MY GOODNESS
What to book in advance?
Book tickets for the night - light tour of the Biltmore House
Book reservations at the Village restaurant
Definitely book a wine tasting/ tour!
Take a horseback or carriage ride at Biltmore!
Feeling outdoorsy?! There are plenty of walking/ biking trails galore! Local boutiques on every corner! History buff? Learn more about the history on George Washington Vanderbilt II, his family, and the estate!

This was literally my first blog ever~ its always been a dream! When traveling, shopping, needing recommendations, I always rely so much on other bloggers. My goal is to help others as much as I have been helped!
HAVE QUESTIONS?! Message me on instagram @Harperlakehomes
Love you all xoxo,

Great read! Turning winter blues into creativity is such a powerful mindset shift. I’ve found that planning something exciting, like a weekend getaway or even making a limo reservation in Toronto for a classy night out, really boosts my mood and keeps the creative energy flowing!
